What does your soul have to so with Safely Dating? Most of us had our hearts broken one time or another. Most of us are looking for our soul mate. Our soul is the inner spiritual self. Be careful not to hurt someone's feelings. Not only it could break someone's heart, but could lead to violence. Be respectful. Be honest about your feelings to that person. Don't lead someone on if your are not really interested in a "more then friends" relationship.

Some of the following scripture was taken from a series of sermons, Reel Dating, from Granger Community Church in Granger Indiana. Which is about twenty minutes from Notre Dame, Indiana. You can watch their weekend services on line. You might be surprised.

Scripture can be used as a good guide for real life examples. It's very wise. Can be applied to men or women.

Sept. 9-27, 2007 

Pr 7:21 With persuasive words she led him astray; she seduced him with her smooth talk.

Pr 7:22 All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose

Pr 7:23 till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life.

Pr 7:24 Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say.

Pr 7:25 Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths.

Mt 7:17 Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  

Mt 7:18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

1Co 7:4 The wife’s body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband’s body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.

1Co 7:5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Isa 30:16 You said, ‘No, we will flee on horses.' Therefore you will flee! You said, ‘We will ride off on swift horses.’ Therefore your pursuers will be swift!

Isa 30:18 Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!

Isa 30:19 O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.

Isa 30:20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.

Isa 30:21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

Ro 12:16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Ro 12:17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody.

Ro 12:18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

Ro 12:19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.  

Pr 12:15 The way of a fool seems right to him, but a wise man listens to advice.

Pr 12:26 A righteous man is cautious in friendship, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.

Pr 12:21 No harm befalls the righteous, but the wicked have their fill of trouble.

Pr 12:22 The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in men who are truthful.

Pr 12:23 A prudent man keeps his knowledge to himself, but the heart of fools blurts out folly.

Pr 12:24 Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in slave labor.

2Co 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
